Critic review: The flavours of Apothic Rose stand out. You will be hit by fruit flavours of strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon, all fruits that make you think about lovely weather and sipping a glass of rose in the garden. These bold flavours make it a great choice of wine to serve with a meal. Not only does it go with seafood and chicken, but it is also a good accompaniment to a cheese board. Choose semi-soft cheeses like Gruyere, Havarti, and Monterey Jack. It also goes so well with vegetarian and vegan dishes. In addition, you can even serve it with a dessert such as a blueberry cobbler, rhubarb cake, or madeleines.

Wine Folly: Wine Folly states the primary flavor tasted in rose is rose petal, but with this specific wine I taste more strawberry. The site states the longer the contact with grape skins, the darker the color; this wine most not have been in contact very long as it has a very light pink color.

Personal Review: I really enjoy the smell of rose in general, but I really like how this wine in particular smells. It is very fruity, less rose petal-y. The color is fantastic, I really enjoy the light pink hue. A tall glass of it would look VERY pretty. Similar to the smell, the taste is heavily on the fruity side of the spectrum. It's very heavy in strawberry tones. I'm a little sick, so the smell and taste could be a little more complex than I am currently picking up. but as of now it seems fairly one dimensional.
